These two met in college, spent over a decade growing together, and when life finally slowed down, they decided it was time to make it official. But instead of choosing a traditional venue, they leaned into their roots: both were former Girl Scout/Boy Scout kids… so what better place to get married than an actual Girl Scout camp on the Oregon Coast?

This wasn’t a one-day schedule.It was an immersive, nostalgic, joy-filled Oregon camp wedding experience.

Their Ceremony: A Meaningful Lakeside Handfasting at Camp Cleawox

Their ceremony took place beneath the trees beside the lake, surrounded by the people who had traveled near and far to celebrate them.

The night before, guests gathered around to help braid one of the cords used in the handfasting ceremony — a symbol of community, connection, and the life these two have built over more than ten years together.

By the time they tied the knot, quite literally, the moment felt layered with meaning.
